If you joined the hiking club during the first half of the year, this hike is for YOU! Whether you’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to meet other members, haven’t made it out to an event yet, or just want to get to know some fellow hikers, come join us for a fun day on the trails at William B. Umstead State Park.
We’ll spend the day enjoying the trails, getting some miles in, and most importantly, connect with other new members of the club. This is a great chance to put some faces to names, meet people at your own pace, and build your hiking crew.

Trail has roots and mild elevation changes throughout. Hiking shoes or shoes with ankle support are recommended.
