What began as a small initiative through my Dreams to Kings and Queens Foundation has grown into a lasting commitment that continues to guide our work today. For the past five years, BLK Hiking Club has carried this mission forward with pride. We’ve expanded our reach, deepened our impact, and stayed rooted in the belief that community service is not a moment but a movement. As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to uplifting our neighbors, supporting local youth, and showing up wherever we’re needed. This work is part of who we are, and it will continue to shape every step we take.
Back To School Supply Drive
For years, our Back‑to‑School Supply Drive has been one of our most meaningful traditions. What started as a small effort to support local students has grown into a community‑powered initiative that provides backpacks, school supplies, and encouragement to families across the city. Each year, we show up with the same mission: to make sure every child starts the school year prepared, confident, and supported.

The Change Starts With You Scholarship was created to recognize young leaders who embody resilience, purpose, and a commitment to shaping their own futures. What began as a small award through Dreams to Kings and Queens has grown into a signature BLK Hiking Club initiative—one that invests directly in the next generation. Each scholarship represents more than financial support; it’s a reminder that their voice, their dreams, and their impact truly matter.
