Registration & Pricing
What does my ticket price include?
Your ticket is your all-access pass for the weekend! The price includes your selected lodging for two nights, all planned event activities (guided hikes, activities/workshops, movie night), exclusive event merchandise, dinner at the Friday Welcome Mixer and lunch after the hike on Saturday.
I'm coming with a friend/partner. How do we book a private room together?
It's simple! One person books the private cabin, yurt, or Airstream of your choice. During the checkout process, you will see an "add-on" option to "+1 Attendee Add On" for a flat $50 fee. The single registration form will then have space to collect the names and details for both of you in one easy transaction.
Can I attend by myself?
Absolutely! Most of our attendees come solo. It's a fantastic way to meet new people. If you're coming alone, the Shared Room option is the perfect choice. We will pair you with other amazing solo travelers in a shared cabin.
What is the cancellation policy?
We have a tiered cancellation policy. Cancellations received 90 days or more before the event are eligible for a full refund (minus a small processing fee). Cancellations received 31-90 days prior are eligible for a 50% refund. Within 30 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable. However, you are always welcome to sell or transfer your spot to another person. Just let us know the new attendee's information.
Food & Meals
Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or other dietary options available?
Yes. The meals we provide (Friday's dinner and Saturday’s lunch) will have vegetarian-friendly options. Our registration form includes a field for you to specify any dietary restrictions or major allergies so we can plan accordingly.
Which meals are catered or included?
We will provide dinner and snacks at the Welcome Mixer on Friday evening and a community lunch on Saturday. For all other meals, you are free to use go to the lounge in the lobby or explore the great local restaurants in Gatlinburg or Piegon Forge.
Lodging & Roommates
I'm a solo traveler in a shared room. How are roommates assigned?
We pair roommates based on the information provided in the registration form, including the "Gender Identity" field, to create a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone. It's a great way to make a new friend!
Can I request a specific roommate for my shared room?
Yes! If you are booking a shared room and have a friend who is doing the same, you can each list each other's names in the "Roommate Request" field on your registration forms.
When will I find out my specific cabin number or who my roommates are?
To create the best community layout and thoughtfully pair roommates, we finalize all lodging assignments after registration closes November 16th. You can expect to receive your specific cabin/yurt/Airstream number, along with the names of your cabin-mates (if applicable), in the final "Welcome Packet" email. This email will be sent out in December.
The Event Experience
I'm a beginner hiker. Will there be hikes for me?
Definitely! We will be leading guided hikes for all skill levels, from scenic and relaxed walks to more strenuous and challenging trail options. You'll be able to choose the adventure that's right for you.
What should I pack?
You should pack for cold-weather hiking (layers are key!), comfortable clothes for relaxing at the campground, and any personal toiletries. A detailed packing list and final event details will be sent to all registered attendees closer to the event date.
